“As a long-time advocate of the filmmaking craft and the working groups behind it, IngleDodd Media Spotlight Live! created specifically to bring the focus to ‘backstage’ craftsmen, many of whom feel increasingly marginalized at major industry awards shows. We have created an elegant one-day event to give these ‘invisible heroes’ from multiple disciplines the opportunity to share the stage and discuss their creative processes,” said Dan Dodd, IDM Director of Sales and Marketing. “We are absolutely thrilled with the support and solidarity shown by these guild and society members for this inaugural event, and we are proud of our continued role in promoting their craft.”

The day-long event focused on many of the many guilds that IDM represents, including the Art Directors Guild, Cinema Audio Society, Costume Designers Guild, Locations Managers Guild International, Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild, Motion Picture Sound Editors, Production Sound & Video Guild and the Society of Composers and Lyricists. Members of the American Cinema Editors, the Casting Society of America, and the Visual Effects Society were also featured.
