From brand new series like animal control to your favorites like Yellow jackets and Riverdale Returning for another season, here’s everything you need to know about filming in Vancouver this month.

Directed and starring Anna Kendrick, The dating game begins filming in the city in November. The new thriller is based on the true story of Cheryl Bradshaw – a woman who appeared on a popular dating show in the ’70s and ends up with a bachelor named Rodney Alcala, who turns out to be a serial killer. The dating game will be the first film Kendrick has directed and is expected to be shooting in Vancouver by sometime in December.

Animal Control – Season 1

animal control will open a shop in Vancouver this November to begin filming its first season. The new comedy series, starring Joel McHale, is about an animal control officer who has a unique connection with animals that’s almost supernatural. Filming will take place in the city from November to January.

Dead Boy Detectives Season 1

HBO Max Dead Boy detectives will begin filming for its first season this November. The mystery series follows a teenager who somehow connects with the spirits of two dead British teenagers and comes together to solve supernatural crimes. The series will be a DC Comics spin-off The Sandman and will be filmed until March next year.

braver Filming will begin in the Vancouver area by November. The new military thriller will play the leading role Outer Bank Chase Stokes and will be a story about surviving after a US helicopter crashed in a war zone in North Korea.

Yellowjackets – Season 2

it’s show time Yellow jackets is in Vancouver to film for its second season. In addition to Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey and Tawny Cypress, the series also stars popular longtime actress Christina Ricci.

The plot follows a group of soccer players who are stranded in the Canadian wilderness after their plane crash – and has some serious consequences Lord of the flies vibrations. Expect plenty of flashbacks and time shifts, too, as the series follows the girls from teens to adults. Filming will last until February 2023.

Riverdale returned to Vancouver last October to begin filming the seventh and final season. Based on the Archie comics, Riverdale has been filming in the Vancouver area for years. Unfortunately, this is the last time the cast and crew will be on site after it was announced that the Netflix series will end with Season 7. Filming will run from mid-October to June 2023.

Virgin River – Season 5

Virgin River is on location around Metro Vancouver to film for the fifth season of the popular Netflix show. The romance/drama series follows a woman who moves to a small town in Northern California after taking a job as a nurse. Of course, not only does she fall in love with the city, but also with a man who runs the local bar.

Series stars Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson star as Melinda and Jack, and according to fans, their relationship complicates it Virgin River You must have seen that!

ABC’s A million little things Is currently filming for its fifth season and production is due to wrap up in March next year. The series, starring David Giuntoli, Romany Malco and Allison Miller, follows a close-knit group of friends who come together and realize what’s really important in life after one of them dies suddenly. Season five is thought to be the show’s final, although ABC has yet to officially confirm this.

The Flash – Season 9

The Lightning is in Vancouver this month to film for another season and is expected to be on location by March next year. Based on the DC Comics, the show stars Grant Gustin as crime scene investigator Barry Allen, a man who has the superpower of speed and uses it to save the innocent while fighting crime.

Alaska Daily – Season 1

Alaska Daily has settled in the Metro Vancouver area to film for its first season. The new series brings Hilary Swank to town – she will play the lead role of a journalist who moves to a remote Alaskan town in search of a fresh start. Filming will take place from August to January 2023.

upload is back in Vancouver to shoot for the third season. Codenamed “Luddwig,” the series is expected to be in production in the city until sometime in November.

The series, starring Robbie Amell, is about a man who dies and is somehow able to choose his own afterlife in a virtual world known as Digital Heaven. The show will stream on Amazon Prime Video and will be quickly renewed for another season in May. Other cast members include Zainab Johnson, Allegra Edwards and Andy Allo.

The Good Doctor – Season 6

The good doctor is back in Vancouver for another season! Starring Shaun Murphy at Freddie Highmore, the show revolves around a surgeon with autism who thinks outside the box and is recruited to work at a prestigious hospital. The good doctor will be on site for quite a while as filming will continue until April next year.

Nancy Drew – Season 4

Nancy Drew is currently filming for the fourth season of the hit CW show. Based on the original Nancy Drew The series follows a young Nancy Drew who becomes embroiled in a mystery when she and a group of her friends unexpectedly witness a murder. Filming will be ongoing in the Metro Vancouver area sometime in December.

Kung Fu – Season 3

The CWs kung fu is on location in town filming for its third season and production will continue through December. The series stars Olivia Liang as Nicky Shen, a young woman who becomes her community’s vigilante, using martial arts to fight crime and protect others. Set in the present kung fu is an adaptation of the original from the 1970s kung fu Series.

CBS’s So help me Todd is currently being produced in Vancouver. In the new drama-comedy series, Skylar Astin plays a private investigator who starts working for his mother at her law firm, played by Marcia Gay Harden. Production of the first season will continue into December.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians – Season 1

With Those of the Adam project Walker Scobell as the main character Percy Jackson, the new series is based on the fantasy books by author Rick Riordan. Production is expected to continue until January 2023.
